AF-2 is an endogenous RFamide-like peptide from the parasitic nematode Ascaris suum. It has potent stimulatory effects on the somatic musculature suggesting that it may have an important role in the motornervous system. Pang, F.Y.; et al., Parasitology, 110, 353, (1995).
