This sequence is a steroid receptor coactivator-1 (SRC-1) amino acids 682 to 697. The SRC-1-derived peptide binds to the ERR gamma LBD (estrogen-related receptor gamma ligand binding domain). The ERR gamma LBD also exhibits an agonist conformation in presence of a coactivator derived from SRC-1. It was shown that the SRC-1 potentiates the transcriptional activity of ERR gamma.
