Fmoc-D-Ala(N3)-OH [1016163-79-3]

Fmoc-3-azido-D-alanine is a reagent used in click chemistry that features an azide functional group. This compound is capable of participating in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reactions with molecules possessing alkyne groups. Additionally, it can engage in ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with compounds containing DBCO or BCN groups.

For best results, please use PyBOP or Castro’s reagent for coupling this product.  Poor results have been obtained with HBTU or TBTU.
